INTERLOCKING BRICKS ARE BETTER AND CHEAP IN DOING FLAT-ROOFED BUNGALOWS

Client B:     Hey Dann, there is this technology I have seen people using; of                                        interlocking bricks. Would you advise me to use it?

Arch.  Dann:  Yeah sure; especially for a flat-roofed bungalow.

Client B:         Why a flat roof?

Arch. Dann:  One reason is that they are cheap to construct and they leave such a                          smooth surface for easier plastering.

Client B: You know cost of construction is key, kindly elaborate on the point of                            being cheap.

Arch Dann:  Joining the bricks does not need mortar since they interlock; secondly                            they leave a very smooth surface as I said hence less plastering mortar.
Another thing is that they require less labour which can also be semi-                              skilled since it’s just sticking the bricks together. Labour is one thing that                        makes   clients to sweat so much.

Client B:        What do you mean by mortar?

Arch. Dann:  It’s a mixture of sand and cement.

Client:         Oh! OK. And why did you say that they do better on flat-roofed Bungalow                      than pitched?

Arch Dann:  In a pitched roof house, it’s the roof that gives it the form but in a                                  flat-roof it’s the wall that gives the house its form. Bricks make it easy to                         plaster the wall and they look so awesome while plastered but pitched                             bungalows do not look so good while fully plastered.

Client B: Do you have any photo of such flat-roofed Bungalow you have done so                         far and how can I reach you?

Arch Dann: Yeah sure, there you go. +254720918775 is my number.
